Sharapova, who moves into her third consecutiveROLAND-GARROS final with a 4-6,
7-5, 6-2 victory over Canada's Genie Bouchard.
Sharapova will bid for
her second French Open title and her 5th career Grand Slam title on Saturday
against either Simona Halep or Andrea Petkovic.
It was a great battle
that saw the Russian win her 19th consecutive clay-court three-setter. But
Bouchard acquitted herself nicely, even in defeat.
Is this a future
rivalry on the WTA tour?
